Adding an Adapter and Connection to a Salesforce Service
- From the DMC, expand Adapters and then Configured.
Right-click IWAF and select Add Adapter.
The select IWAF adapter panel opens.
- Select iwsforce and click Next.
The Add Connection for IWAF Step 1 panel opens.
- Select Salesforce and click Next, as
shown in the following image.
The Add Connection for IWAF Step 2 panel opens.
- Fill in the form with the following:
- Connection Name. The connection name. You can use the default, CON01.
- User. Your e-mail address.
- Password. Your password and security token as a single entry. For example, if your password is mypassword and security token is mrmxlplx, you would enter mypasswordmrmxlplx.
- Endpoint. Use the default value, unless connecting to an alternate salesforce instance, such as your sandbox.
- Username. Your e-mail address.
- Security. Leave blank.
The following image shows an example of the form filled out.
Note: The password and security token are entered as a single entry, for example, passwordtoken.
- Click Configure.
