InfoAssist+

This content describes how to use InfoAssist+, a robust, user-friendly solution that helps companies overcome traditional ad hoc reporting challenges while meeting the need for insightful analysis through the use of such tools as Esri mapping and visualization capabilities. With the various tools offered in InfoAssist+, you can perform the analysis you need to get results from your data.

Key Features

The following Key Feature is introduced in Release 8.2.01M:

• Esri On Premise. The Esri On Premise functionality enables you to download and access mapping files through the use of a local Application Programming Interface (API). Once you download and configure the API, you do not need an internet connection to utilize the robust mapping features that Esri provides.

The following Key Features are introduced in Release 8.2.01:

• Dynamic Navigation: Auto Drill and Auto Linking. Release 8.2 introduces Auto Drill and Auto Linking capabilities for HTML and AHTML reports, as well as for HTML5 and AHTML charts. These features make it easy for you to navigate your data and broaden your analytical insights. They also streamline the effort needed to create drill downs.

• Parameter-driven Charts and Reports. You can add parameters to your report, chart, or document to create parameter options for selection at run-time. This enables you to dynamically select and review different scenarios with your data, offering you on-demand, dynamic report, chart, or document creation.

• Mapping: Esri Online. You can use the Esri mapping feature to identify patterns or trends in your data. Using content that is available online (using Esri's ArcGIS Online), you can visualize data using various feature layers, including Background, Demographic, and Reference Layers.

• Data Enrichment and Esri Tapestry Segmentation. When working with maps, you can use Demographic Layers to enrich your BI data. Demographic Layers are thematic maps that provide additional information about the location, such as spending habits, population, and lifestyles. They display a layer of information about people and businesses in a specific demographic area. This includes the United States and 120 other countries. The mapping functionality of InfoAssist+ with the Esri integration, through ArcGIS Online, supports the most recent demographic and Tapestry Segmentation lifestyle information.
