WebFOCUS Designer is a web-based development tool that you can use to create interactive, responsive pages and meaningful InfoApps, using content that you or other members of your organization create. This content (reports, charts, documents, and more) can be added to a page using drag-and-drop actions. Using the interactive grid canvas, you can resize and rearrange resources with ease. The enhanced filtering functionality enables you to drill down into your data further.
You can use the Global Name property to quickly synchronize filter control values between different pages. The Global Name property is a powerful tool that you configure on the Settings tab of the Properties panel for a filter control. Once enabled, it allows you to match your filter selections across multiple pages at run time within the same browser session.
You can use a JavaScript function to pass parameters from content in one panel to the content in other panels. This makes it possible to create an interactive page where the user can explore the data in different ways.
