A new setting, Enable InfoSearch (IBI_INFOSEARCH), appears on the Magnify Settings page of the Administration Console Configuration tab. When the check box in this setting is selected, InfoSearch is available for use. Users who have the new Display Ask WebFOCUS Menu (opInfoSearch) privilege and to whom dimensionally-indexed Repository content is available can then open the Ask WebFOCUS view by clicking the Ask WebFOCUS sidebar option, and use InfoSearch to search for reports, charts, and other content resources that contain data or metadata that matches their query. This check box is selected, by default. When it is cleared, none of these features can be made available to any user within the organization.
