Using the Windows Command Prompt to Delete Inactive and Nonrecurring Schedules

You can now use the Windows command prompt purgesched utility to delete all inactive or nonrecurring schedules in your repository. The purgesched utility allows you to delete unused schedules. Removing unused schedules reduces the time and resources needed when performing migration or change management procedures. You can use the purgesched utility or the Delete Schedules feature in the ReportCaster Console to delete unused schedules.

To access the purgesched utility, use the Windows command prompt to navigate to the .../ibi/WebFOCUSnn/ReportCaster/bin directory, where nn is the version number of your WebFOCUS software. After the /bin text, type purgesched, and press the Enter key to display the ReportCaster Schedule Purge Utility Operation options.
